A 'light bulb' moment, born out of years of frustration.

For years we witnessed cast & crew hanging by a string, blindly omitting their pain, while waiting for invoices to be paid.

We decided to create a platform which welcomes the vast majority of filmmakers and provides them with the security & peace of mind which they need to succeed.

November 2019

Production went underway

We took on the task of creating the world's first on demand hiring platform for filmmakers. Every step of the way, communicating with veterans in their field as to the benefits and features they'd like to see.

We constantly improved upon hearing feedback and began to accommodate the listing of clients and companies that could be searched by a filmmaker, opening up a two way channel of communication to further connect the two parties.

March 2021

We launched in the UK

Starting in our hometown London, UK we established our headquarters. Filmmakers from across the UK started to join the platform and reaped the benefits of getting hired on Setwork.

Shortly after, people from across the world reached out asking for access to the network. They spoke and we listened.

Today

Setwork is available in 56 countries across the world facilitating a plethora of ongoing film and photography projects.

We are now the world's leading platform for on demand film production.
